Chuck Pryor is a name most people in the Christian radio
industry recognize and associate with successful radio
stations.
Chuck skills encompass a background in management,
programming, on-air, production and staff development. Most
recently he was Program Director of KSBJ in Houston at a
time when they had the highest ratings in their 25 year
history. KSBJ has grown their come to 668,400 people
weekly, and routinely achieves a number one ranking in
their target of women 25-54.
Chuck's involvement in the radio industry has helped him be
recognized by the Houston Chronicle readers as the
"Ultimate Afternoon Show" in November 2006. KSBJ was also
honored as Major Market station of the year in 2005, 2006,
2007, and 2008. In addition Chuck was chosen Major Market
Program Director of the year in 2008 by his peers, during
the CMB Echo Awards for excellence in broadcasting. When he
was with WBLG-FM in 2003 & 2004, that station was also
voted CMB station of the year in it's category.
Chuck's experience as a Station Manager at WBGL-FM and
WCFL-FM helped him gain new perspective on the overall
needs of a non-commercial radio station, and helped him
increase WBGL's revenue by 305% over a three year period,
as well as increasing the cume 100%.
